Vancouver Canucks vs. Colorado Rockies After two years in Kansas City, the Scouts franchise moved to Denver for the 1976-77 season. The Colorado Rockies lasted six seasons before moving to New Jersey to become the Devils. The Rockies were not a very good team, making the playoffs just once during their stay in Denver. The Canucks usually fared well against the Rockies, although Vancouver rarely dominated a season series between the two teams. The two teams never met in the playoffs. Historical Notes: Rick Blight was the first Canuck to score against the Rockies ... The Canucks picked up Ron Delorme from Colorado in the 1981 Waiver Draft ... Neil Belland was the last Canuck to score against the Rockies. |
