1989-90 Results

After the surge the Vancouver Canucks experienced the year before, this season was a letdown. In the off-season, the Canucks brought Soviets Igor Larionov and Vladimir Krutov to Vancouver. While Larionov performed well, Krutov was unable to adjust to the Canadian way of life. Almost everyone on the team had an off-season. Dan Quinn won the scoring title with 60 points -- the lowest total for a Canuck team leader since 1978-79 -- even though half of those points came while he was with the Penguins. Defenseman Paul Reinhart was second in scoring. The Canucks missed the playoffs.
