Vancouver Canucks vs. Tampa Bay Lightning

The Tampa Bay Lightning joined the NHL for the 1992-93 season. The Canucks dominated the meetings between the teams, winning almost every game for many years. More recently, Tampa Bay has improved their winning percentage. The two teams have never met in the playoffs.

Historical Notes: Robert Dirk was the first Canuck to score against the Lightning ... After their first-ever meeting was postponed one day because of snow, the Canucks beat the Lightning 7-0 (January 4, 1993) ... Daniel Sedin scored his first NHL goal against Tampa Bay (October 8, 2000) ... The Canucks and Lightning did not meet in 2005-06.
