Vancouver Canucks vs. Florida Panthers

The Florida Panthers joined the NHL for the 1993-94 season. The Canucks lost to the Panthers twice that season, but have fared much better with the Floridians since then. The two teams have never met in the playoffs.

Historical Notes: Dana Murzyn was the first Canuck to score against the Panthers ... Garth Snow recorded his first of six shutouts in the 1998-99 season against the Panthers (October 23, 1998) ... The Canucks and Panthers did not meet in 2005-06 ... In a major trade, the Canucks sent Todd Bertuzzi, Alex Auld and Bryan Allen to Florida for Roberto Luongo, Lukas Krajicek and a draft pick (June 23, 2006).
