Answer to bonus question: Before you get the answer, you have to know when the last time the Canucks made the playoffs. It was during the 1995-96 season and the Canucks met the Colorado Avalanche in the first round. Colorado was on their way to winning the Stanley Cup and the Canucks forced them to six games before bowing out of the playoffs. The Canucks missed the playoffs the next three seasons.

Two of the players on that team were still with the Canucks just four short years later. Markus Naslund was picked up by the Canucks in March, 1996 in a deal for Alek Stojanov. After ten regular season games, he played in all six playoff games that spring. The other player was a rookie in 1995-96 (although he did play a handful of games during 1994-95). Adrian Aucoin played every game during the 1996 playoffs, although he failed to record a point.

Ironically, neither player played for the Canucks in the 2001 playoffs (Naslund was injured and Aucoin was traded away in February 2001).
