North Delta Senior Secondary
Grad Class of 1983

Liesl Jauk -- 2007

For a few years now, I’ve been dropping in to this site to see who’s updated their info or added a page. I feel like I have a better idea of who I went to school with now than I did in 1983!

Since NDSS, my career (if you can call it that) has consisted of a couple of art history degrees, some graphic design and lots of in-the-trenches work at arts non-profits. I’m still in Vancouver, living in the West End about a block from Stanley Park where I like to run on weekends.

My husband and I run a small business called Rebus Creative (www.rebuscreative.com) that does marketing and design for arts and culture clients mostly. We also produce the BC Book Prizes and The Word On The Street festival which happens at the downtown library every September, so if you like to read, come down and check it out.

Outside of work, we try to travel when we can, mostly around BC. I recently visited family in Australia. My brother Adrian, who graduated from NDSS in 1988, moved there and has a beautiful family so I get to be an Auntie to Emma (b.2002) and Ben (b. 2006).

I hope this finds all my fellow grads well and happy. Take care, and thanks to David for keeping this site up and running.
